Today we mark a number of important events:

  • Malcolm celebrates today the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood; we give thanks for his long and continuing ministry.
  • We celebrate the ministry of Dr John Sentamu as he retires after 15 years as Archbishop of York and wish him and Margaret well in their retirement.
  • We give thanks for the appointment of the Revd Liz Hassall as our new priest in charge of our city centre churches and look forward to welcoming her and her family towards Christmas.
